HAERBIN: Chinese (WADEGILES ROMANIZATION) HA-ERH-PIN, Pinyin HAERBIN, second largest city of Northeast China and capital of Heilungkiang Province (sheng), on the Sungari River. The city owes its origin to the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway by the Russians at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Before 1896 it was a small fishing village. Thereafter it became the construction centre for the railway, which by 1904 linked the Trans-Siberian Railroad from a point east of Lake Baikal in Siberia with the Russian port of Vladivostok on the Sea of Japan. Harbin was a base for Russian military operations in Manchuria during the Russo-Japanese War (1904-5). At the end of that war Harbin temporarily came under joint Chinese-Japanese administration. hello prettymama, I think that you can not help maim for she is a learner and you too, so you have to find people who are speaking english to help you both. You are speaking french and maimang too so how can you learn english?
Please find friends who are speaking english then you can learn easly with them.

I don't think so Lydiette!. I think that a learner can help too another learner . For sure there will have mistakes in their dialog ( as in mine and yours) but friendship forget the mistakes and bit by bit apprenticeship arrives. When you want to deepen an relation you give you the straight way to failure. They can also exchange their expériences, their, documentations and why not, throught internet, their lessons.
It's my opinion, what's yours ( question for all)

( nb : au secours Mmes et Mrs les linguistes avertis, cet exercice est très difficile au stade où j'en suis et vos corrections sont les bienvenues)

I will try to give a good example of what bridg is saying. Two learners together will try to go further than one alone. Please teachers and fluent people in English, don't be afraid of that modest correction. It is really hard for me.

you are right bridg, je penses qu'elles peuvent correspondre en tant qu'amies mais pour mieux apprendre c'est de trouver une correspondante qui pourra les aider. Sachez que dès le départ quand on apprends un mot ca reste ancré et c'est difficil de le corriger.
Moi, je sais que 0 + 0 = 0
0 + 1 = 1.
C'est juste pour dire que si tu ne parles pas l'anglais et que tu te confies à une personne qui n'en parle pas, tu n'apprendras pas du tout

ça c'est ma phylosophie et je l'applique même dans ma vie courante.

I ear you Lydiette but I ratify my idea, 2 beginners who mix each other their different experiences and documentations can also progress. In this forum, Prettymama wanted to help and to welcome another Chinese people. I'm sure that this tie makes them to progress quickly

=> c'est pour cela que les gens de niveau avancé (ou profs, ou bilingues) ne se pretent pas aux echanges (correspondance, etc) j'avoue moi meme je suis parmi ceux la/celles la.
tout simplement car en echange tu n'apprend rien du tout et tu corrige sans cesse les nouveaux ou débutants... étant prof, je corrige mes eleves a longueur de journée alors, si en + le soir/WEnd je dois corriger les "correspondants" au secours
biensur, j'espere n'avoir offensée personne et je suis désolée d'avoir fait un hors sujet (si hors sujet il y a) mais je tenais a le souligner.
