Bonjour,
je dois faire un exposé sur les traditions de Noël au Canada et en France mais je pense que ma traduction n'est pas terrible, pouvez-vous m'aider?
Merci pour vos réponses.

INTRODUCTION
We are going to speak about Christmas traditions in France and in Canada.
English Canada is an English -speaking country composed of 9 Canadians provinces where English is the official language.
The English-speaking inhabitants are coming from multiple ethnic groups but all of these are coming to an agreementto celebrate Christmas in Canadian way.

In France, everyone will find his presents, the morning of Christmas day in Christmas tree foot close to the traditional
Nativity scene.
Most of the time, people and especially children will have made previously a wishing list to Santa Claus and will receive that's
they ordered.

In Canada, everyone will choose something very particular to offer, a present which will be a surprise for the receiver.

We can find an other tradition in France, Yule log, which has not always been a cake. Some time ago, it used to be a real wooden log
that we whatched burning in the chimney while waiting for Christmas. We made the most of the opportunity to sing Christmax Carols
to share a light meal.

in Canada, the log was a pastry shared with the whole family at the end of the Christmas meal.

In this two countries, Christmas is for believers people, the day where Christ was born. We celebrate him through the Christmas mass ,
the nativity scene, to recreate the scene of Jesus' birth.
In Canada, around Christmas Eve fire , we tell some tales or some beautiful stories. In France, it's like a ritual not very applied except
in some French regions as in Alsace, Provence, Brittany or in North Region.

CONCLUSION
That's the way how Canadians and French are celebrate Christmas. Canadians traditions of Christmas are really very respected and the idea to
indulge yourself by pleasing someone else by the gift-giving for Christmas is typically Canadian.
In france, we shall hold like main rituals with wonderful presents ribboned, booked to Santa Claus and founded at foot of Christmas tree for
day Christmas.
I would like to thank you for your listening ad i'm going to answer your questions.

Bonsoir,
quelques erreurs de base à éviter:
1) les adjectifs qualificatifs sont invariables, donc pas de pluriel à Canadian provinces.
2) that = que.
what = ce que Listen to what I say. They will receive what they ordered = they will receive the presents that they ordered
3) this a pour pluriel these: in these two countries.
4) Les mots composés sont à l'envers des nôtres: le jour de Noël = Christmas day.
erreurs en bleu, corrections en vert.

We are going to speak about Christmas traditions in France and in Canada.
English Canada(sounds strange) is an English -speaking country composed of 9 Canadians provinces where English is the official language.
The English-speaking inhabitants are coming from (present simple)multiple ethnic groups but all of these are coming to an agreement (idem) to celebrate Christmas in a Canadian way.

In France, everyone will find his presents, on the morning of Christmas day, in the Christmas tree foot close to the traditional Nativity scene.
Most of the time, people and especially children will have made previously a wishing list to Santa Claus and will receive that's
they ordered.

In Canada, everyone will choose something very particular to offer, a present which will be a surprise for the receiver.

We can find another tradition in France, Yule log, which has not always been a cake. Some time ago, it used to be a real wooden log that we whatched burning in the chimney while waiting for Christmas. We made the most of the opportunity to sing Christmax Carols to share a light meal.(pas claire comme construction)

in Canada, the log was a pastry shared with the whole family at the end of the Christmas meal.

In this two countries, Christmas is for believers(mot adjectival, donc invariable. De plus, ça ne se dit pas, dites simplement for believers, vouloir absolument treduire "des gens croyants" vous mène à la faute) people, on the day where Christ was born. We celebrate him through the Christmas mass ,the nativity scene, to recreate the scene of Jesus's birth.
In Canada, around the Christmas Eve fire , we tell some tales or some beautiful stories. In France, it's like a ritual not very applied (ordre des mote trop français) except in some French regions as in Alsace, Provence, Brittany or in North Region.

CONCLUSION
That's the way how Canadians and French are celebrate Christmas. Canadians traditions of Christmas are really very respected and the idea to indulge yourself by pleasing someone else by the gift-giving for Christmas is typically Canadian.
In france, we shall hold like(sens??) main rituals with wonderful presents ribboned(ordre des mots à la française), booked(verbe louer une place de théatre) to Santa Claus and founded at foot of(sens? to found= fonder . to find, I found = trouver) Christmas tree for
day Christmas.(à inverser)

I would like to thank you for your listening and i'm going to answer your questions.
