Sydney is the most populated city of Australia with an urban surface exceeding the 4,2 million inhabitants. It is the capital of the state of News-Wales of the South and is located on the south-eastern dimension of the country.
First of the European colonies of Australia, Sydney was founded in 1788 in Sydney Cove by the captain Arthur Phillip. Built on the two with dimensions ones of bay of Jackson Port, Sydney is today the most important financial center of Australia, as well as an international tourist destination, known for its principal beaches and its two monuments: the Opera and Harbour Bridge.
Sydney is a city established around a bay which can accommodate 10.000 boats.
