Hello,

What do you think of this text please?
Thank you very much for your help.

The composition of the plane depends of the choice of the materials. The aviation had an important role in the army and in the war. It had many functions. The planes are a very good weapon and a way to spy the enemy. So we can say the fabrication of the plane is a very big deal.

The first material witch was used in the aviation was wood. It was the principal element in the construction. There was also piece of clothes. This composition was still used in the First World War. Planes witch was made of steel and aluminium was too heavy and not enough malleable. The steel wings were 40% heavier than the wood wings. All the more the steel wasn’t strong enough to resist to the air forces. So the plane was made of wood until the years 1930. From this year a new method of construction has been invented. This method allowed using metal in the construction of planes. In order to improve the price and the weight the constructors used alloys of aluminium which was less expensive than other metals.

After the Second World War planes in wood wasn’t used anymore. The invention of the avion jet leads the aviation to a new era. The aviation enters in the era of modern materials which are used today.

Hello,

A few things to watch out for:
- We don't use articles in English in the same way that they appear in French (see examples in text). Whjen we talk of a general concept we do not use an article (or at least it is not visible).
- Watch conjugations, e.g. "Pilots was well respected" = "Les pilotes était bien estimés."

The composition of aeroplanes depends of (wrong preposition) the choice of the materials. The Aviation had an important role in the army and in the war (do you mean "the war" i.e. a particular war or "war" generally?). It had many functions. Aeroplanes are a very good weapon and a way to spy (missing preposition) the enemy. So we can say the fabrication (you are talking of a process, so I would write "development") of the aeroplane is a very big deal (a bit to colloquial - "is highly significant" perhaps?)

The first material witch (wrong - homophone)was used in the aviation was wood. It was the principal element in the construction "of aeroplanes". There were also pieces of cloth. This composition was still used in the First World War. Aeroplanes witch (see above) was (check conjugation) made of steel and aluminium was (conjugation)too heavy and not malleable enough. Steel wings were 40% heavier than the wood wings. All the more, the steel wasn’t strong enough to resist the pressures exerted on the wing. So aeroplanes were made of wood until the 1930s. From this year a new method of construction has been (check tense) invented. This method made it possible to use metal in the construction of planes. In order to lower the price and improve on weight the manufacturers used alloys of aluminium which was less expensive than other metals.

After the Second World War planes in wood (we don't say this in English - look for the adjective that comes from "wood" and write "_____ aeroplanes wasn’t (check conjugation)used anymore. The invention of the avion jet leads (tense - did it do it in the past or is the invention just starting to lead aviation into a new era now?) the aviation to a new era. Aviation entered the era of modern materials which are used today.

Hello,
Thank you very much stammer. This is my correction:

The composition of aeroplanes depends on the choice of materials. Aviation had an important role in the army and in war. It had many functions. Aeroplanes are a very good weapon and a way to spy on the enemy. So we can say the development of the aeroplane is highly significant for the human.

The first material which was used in aviation was wood. It was the principal element in the construction of aeroplanes. The wings were also made of pieces of cloth. This composition was still used in the First World War. Aeroplanes which were made of steel and aluminium were too heavy and not malleable enough. Steel wings were 40% heavier than wood wings. All the more, steel wasn’t strong enough to resist to the pressures exerted on the wing. So the aeroplanes were made of wood until the years 1930. From this year a new method of construction has been invented. This method made it possible to use metal in the construction of planes. In order to lower the price and improve on weight the manufacturers used alloys of aluminium which was less expensive than other metals.

After the Second World War wooden aeroplanes weren’t used anymore. The invention of the avion jet leaded aviation to a new era. Aviation entered in the era of modern materials which are used today.
