Message de margeoh posté le 28-09-2012 à 22:58:03 (S | E | F)
Bonjour,

Ray Charles was born September 23, 1930 and died July 10, 2004. He was a very famous singer for his many songs! You know of? certainly! He has been awarded 12 Grammy aWords. You have undoubtedly heard of his history in Georgia! He had played in a room, but he refused to enter the romm so he respected all black americains because of segregation laws of the time, blacks couldn’t Attend performances or concert ... Segregation is when blacks and whites were separated in the same place public. It was disgusting and Ray Charles was aware! By rebelling against authority, it has its origins and is well respected all black américains. This is why this great man was inadmissible in Georgia. Indeed it was only later, after the end of segregation and racial laws that the government apologized. In addition, the government chooses one of his songs as the national anthem! "Georgia on my mind" is the official anthem in 1979. We believe that Ray Charles is a very important man because he dared to rebel against authority, despite his fame and the money he earned he remain humble with respect to its origin and skin colors. It is also one of the first to react against segregation. Now, it is clear that many of the attitudes have evolved and changed. In addition, it is a black who is in power. So it is thanks to people like him all that has changed.
This is why we chose Ray Charles for the 5th person appearing on the black hills. And you what do you think?

Ray Charles was born on September the 23 of 1930 (sauf avis contraire des experts, cette expression n'est pas dans le bon ordre) and died on July the 10 of 2004 (idem). He was a very famous singer of his many songs! You know of? certainly! He has been awarded by 12 Grammy awards. You have probably heard of his history in Georgia! He had played (l'emploi de ce temps ne correspond pas à ce que nous lisons ensuite dans cette phrase, puisqu'il aurait refusé de le faire) in a room, but he refused to do because of segregation laws of the time, blacks (que ce soit un adjectif ou un nom, il y a une faute ou une autre ! ) couldn’t attend the concerts... Segregation is when blacks and whites (idem que juste avant) were separated in the same place public. (ordre) It was disgusting and Ray Charles was aware! By rebelling against authority, it wishes to his origins and is well respected all black américans (nom ? accent). This is why this great man was inadmissible in Georgia. Indeed it was only later, after the end of segregation and racial laws that the government apologized.

Bon courage.

Bonjour,

Ray Charles was born on September the twenty-third,nineteen thirty ( si vous faites un exposé oral)and died on July the 10th, of 2004. He was a very famous singer of(à cause de= because of.... moi j'aurais écrit because/and/ he wrote many songs) his many songs! You know of?(entendre parler de quelqu'un: to hear of somebody , à mettre au present perfect) certainly(si vous avez corrigé comme prévu, "je suis sûre que oui" donnerait "I am sure you have")! He has been awarded by (inutle)12 Grammy awards. You have probably heard of his history(history ou story ??) in Georgia! He had (il devait: c'est soit le prétérit de must, soit l'idée de " he was supposed to....")played in a room, but he refused to do so because of the segregation laws of the time, when blacks couldn’t attend the(ce "the" bien défini n'ira que si vous dites: les concerts qui avaient lieu dans des salles pour blancs) concerts... Segregation is(was serait mieux) when blacks and whites were separated in the same public places . It was disgusting and Ray Charles was aware (à changer ou à complétéer : (I am aware of that!) utilisez "to know about that" au prétérit) By rebelling against authority, it wishes (sens to his origins and is well respected all black américans. This is why this great man was inadmissible(ne convient pas) in Georgia. Indeed it was only later, after the end of segregation and racial laws that the government apologized.

Bonjour,

Ray Charles was born on September the 23rd 1930 and died on July the 10th 2004. He was a very famous singer ! do you know him ? Certainly! He was reward for 12 Grammy awards. You probably heard of his story in Georgia! He had to play in a room in Georgia , but blacks couldn’t assist at his concert. It was unfair and Ray Charles was aware! So, he decides not to play because of segregation, which separate the blacks from whites in the same public place . He refuses to enter the room so he respected all black Americans. ! Unfortunately, rebelling against authority, he was forbidden to play in georgia. Later, after the end of segregation and racial laws, he was allowed to return play in this country.

Merci !

Bonjour..

The date given for his death seems to be wrong; it needs to be checked..
"He was awarded 12 Grammys" probably sounds a little better than what is in the text.
"Assist at his concert"...a literal translation of the French "assister à" - but the English meaning is "attend".

Thank you !
It's June, not July ! sorry !
Attend, ok !

Bonsoir,
si j'applique les conseils de Bluestar....
Ray Charles was born on September the 23rd 1930 and died on June the 10th 2004. He was a very famous singer ! do you know him ? Certainly! He was awarded 12 Grammies. You probably heard of his story in Georgia! He had to play in a room in Georgia , but blacks couldn’t attend his concert. It was unfair and Ray Charles was aware(was aware of that ou bien "knew it)! So, he decides(prétérit) not to play because of segregation, which separated the blacks from the whites in the same public place . He refuses(prétérit) to enter(un peu trop littéraire) the room so( pourquoi dire donc? parce que serait plus logique) he respected all black Americans. ! Unfortunately, rebelling against authority, he was forbidden to play in Georgia. Later, after the end of segregation and racial laws, he was allowed to return and play in this country.(Georgia is a state, not a country)
