English work
Merci beaucoup !

I am going to present you 2012, a very wonderful and spectacular film.
2012 is a 2009 American science fiction disaster film directed by Roland Emmerich
First here are the different actors.
Firstly, the main actor, John Cusack. In the movie, He is called Jackson and he is a writer without a big success. But he will prove his courage and determination to save his family.
But he will prove his courage and determination to save his family.
Secondly, there is Chiwetel Ejiofor, he's called Adrian Helmsley and he is a scientific.
Finally come the jackson's family. Here are Morgan Lily, Amanda Peet and Liam James. In the film, Lilly, Kate and Noah Curtis.

Dr. Adrian Helmsley, part of a worldwide geophysical team investigating the effect on the earth of radiation from unprecedented solar storms, learns that the earth's core is heating up. He warns U.S. President Thomas Wilson that the crust of the earth is becoming unstable and that without proper preparations for saving a fraction of the world's population, the entire race is doomed. The writer Jackson Curtis tries to lead his family to safety as the world literally falls apart around them. (Diapo sur les catastrophe+ Rajouter des catas ! ) Meanwhile, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes of unprecedented strength wreak havoc around the world.

But now, what are the realities in this film?
The film is based on the Mayan civilization . The Maya civilization is a Mesoamerican civilization spanning all a part of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador today and dated to around 2600 BC.
They are famous for their architectural style, their astronomical and mathematical knowledge, their writing and especially now for their calendar.
Indeed there is much talk these days about the Mayan calendar
Why?
Because We are approaching the date of the end of a cycle of their calendar, which many interpret as the end of the world.
This date is December 21 in 2012.
Several hypotheses have already been issued by the believers.
High heat, big cold, collision with an asteroid, volcanic eruption, changing of the poles, or, the idea taken up by the film, solar storm.
Those famous solar storms really exist. The real name is the solar wind. It is a stream of charged particles continually escaping from the upper atmosphere of the Sun. This wind sweeps across the solar system, and causes of gigantic magnetic storms and auroral beautiful.
Unfortunately some scientifics found that the solar storms are increasing ...
So, 2012, fact or fiction?
The countdown is running.
