Je pense que l'on peut dire
Au premier coup d'oeil, on peut s'apercevoir que ....
At first sight,we can realize that .......
a moins qu'il y ait une autre façon de l'exprimer
Glance : signifie plutot jeter un coup d'oeil de temps à autre vers quelqu'un pour attirer son attention ; ou pour jeter un coup do'eil rapide dans une piéce

1. I'm concerned about these suggestions for English idioms. There's something wrong about them, possibly context-dependent.
*At first glance you can notice - is ungrammatical (to me).
A real (safe) example:
"At first sight, it appears to be a simple problem."
This is often used where an initial opinion/impression then changes later. "At first it looked easy, then I realized it's not so easy")
It might be the case that Americans could say "at first glance" in that example. I don't know.
2. Do you mean "Immediately you notice..."? or Immediately you can see?
3. Note that you can't really say "can notice", because the verb notice means not just "see" but something like "see and register in the mind", for example:
I saw a man in the distance and then I noticed that he had no clothes on.
I saw George yesterday but I didn't notice that he had shaved his beard off.
but not
*I saw George yesterday but I couldn't notice that he had shaved his beard off.
rather
I saw George yesterday but I didn't/couldn't see that he had shaved his beard off, because it was so dark and he just waved at me from across the street.
