Alors voilà, je voulais me préparer à mon oral en anglais et je me demandais s'il y avait des fautes de grammaire, conjugaison ...

The current manufacturing processes calling more and more concepts and techniques resulting from different disciplinary fields, the engineers must be able to learn and control complementary specialities, to coordinate the action of specialists resulting from different disciplines, or to lead interdisciplinary projects.
Spécialisé dans un domaine, l'ingénieur reste un généraliste afin de pouvoir s'adapter sans cesse aux évolutions tant industrielles et technologiques que socio-économiques. Les procédés de fabrication actuels faisant de plus en plus appel à des concepts et des techniques issus de champs disciplinaires différents, les ingénieurs doivent être capables de maîtriser des spécialités complémentaires, de coordonner l'action de spécialistes issus de disciplines différentes, ou de conduire des projets interdisciplinaires.

Merci de ne pas donner de corrections toutes faites mais d'aider les membres demandeurs à se corriger après avoir pointé les erreurs. Cette façon de procéder est plus constructive et conforme à la démarche du groupe ici.

1-2:Je suggère d'inverser les 2 sujets.
3- Peut-être ici prendre un pronom possessif plus adéquat.
4-"functions n'est pas le mot qui convient pour dire "les fonctions"...
5- Quel est le mot anglais pour dire "formation"?
6- Chercher occuper un poste/tous les postes...
7- Très mal dit, je suggère d'utiliser un mot comme "specialised in...", ensuite "who can adapt..." (phrase à recontruire sans "in order to"...
8-"developments as well industrial and socio-economic", il y a 2 types de développement (industriel et socio-économique). Ne pas confondre "as well as" et "as well" qui se placera plutôt en fin de phrase. (Phrase à reconstruire). Mauvaise traduction de "aussi bien que".
9- C'est le verbe maîtriser ou simplement avoir que tu recherche (control ne va pas ici)
Voilà pour l'essentiel, c'est surtout un choix de mot et de formulation qui pose problème, sinon le coté grammatical ça va.

Pour cette 2ème partie:

Je vois cette phrase comme ceci:
Throughout his career, the duties/the posts/the role of the engineer can move gradually from foreman to director of a manufacturing unit up to trainer.
6- "Occuper un poste/tous les postes..." Je pensais à "hold down a job/different jobs" ou simplement " confier une tâche" (he can be asked to fulfil different tasks...)7- Là, c'est le mot "généralist" qui est à éviter, on dit plutôt "specialised in..."
Le sens de ta phrase est :"Il doit être prêt à faire face, à s'adapter à des développements...", je dirais :"Qualified in a given field, for example in chemistry or in mechanics, the engineer should be able to adapt to/cope with/ to deal with any kind of industrial as well as socio-economic developments.
"as well as" (aussi bien que, ainsi que), "as well" (également).
8-9)Il me semble qu'il faut commencer la phrase par "as":
AS the manufacturing...call for/require/involve/imply the use of more and more concepts and techniques...., the engineer...to learn and master (better than control)... ("as" ou "since", étant donné que, comme, puisque...)
A vouloir t'aider j'espère ne pas avoir mis la pagaille. Il y aura sûrement d'autres avis.

--> a director of a manufacturing unit --> c'est: “a manufacturing unit manager” / “a production unit manager”.
--> pour le training --> on est d'abord un “training officer”, et la personne qui les dirige s'appelle un “training manager”.
--> occupy all the posts – suggestion de aimen7--> “fulfil different tasks” (requiring .... at the same time responsibility and technical skills).
--> La phrase --> Specialized in a field, ....industrial and socio-economic.
-Voir les suggestions de aimen7
--> Dans la phrase finale,
- The current manufacturing processes calling -->(require) ... concepts,
and so, more diversified techniques, the engineers must be.......
- must be able to extend their knowledge and coordinate ....
