Résumé /Psycho
Message de supersushi69 posté le 22-02-2021 à 14:28:16 (S | E | F)
Bonjour

Why do we become dependent ? Addiction doesn’t only come from the drug itself and what it contains. For example, during the Vietnam War, 20 per cent of American soldiers took heroin. But, at the end of the war, 95 per cent of them stopped. Without going to rehab. So, why do some people have addiction problems ? Professor Peter Cohen talks of the human’s important need of bond. Human beings need to be connected to each other to be happy and in good health. But, if they are isolated, or traumatized by events in their lives, disconnected to other people, they will fill this need of bond by taking drugs. Because it will relieve them. They will bond with something. Currently, to treat the addicts, society punishes them and isolates them in jail. To cure addiction, people must not only be abstinent. The individual healing also involves social recovery.

Bonjour

Why do we become dependent ? Addiction doesn’t only come from the drug itself and what it contains. For example, during the Vietnam War, 20 per cent of American soldiers took heroin. But, at the end of the war, 95 per cent of them stopped without (suppression du point) going to rehab. So, why do some people have addiction problems ? Professor Peter Cohen talks of(un peu familier. speaks about, deals with...) the human’s important need of bond (the important need of bond for human beings). Human beings need to be connected to each other to be happy and in good health. But, if they are isolated, or traumatized by events in their lives, disconnected to(from, séparation. avec to, on y va) other people, they will fill(confusion entre to fill, i court, remplir et to feel, i long, ressentir) this need of bond by taking drugs because (suppression du point) it will relieve them. They will bond with something. Currently (Nowadays), to treat the addicts, society punishes them and isolates them in jail. To cure addiction, people must not only be abstinent but the individual healing also involves social recovery.
