In this text I will try to answer the question « Is the Internet a passing fad or is it going to last ? ».

First of all let us start with the origin of Internet. Internet was created by the American army in the years 1960, when the army sought a mean of communication on rapid and new. At the beginning of the years 1970, academics American have succeeds in increasing the speed transmission of information on Internet, in order to communicating thanks to E-mail. Then Internet was placed at the disposal of all and became the mean of communication that everyone knows today.

Now let us write what Internet enables us to do and the place that it has in the life of all days. Firstly Internet is a mean of communication thanks to E-mail and the messenger instantaneous. Secondly it is a working tool because Internet is an inexhaustible source of information. Thirdly, it is also a means of entertainment thank to all the server of plays.

To conclude I think that Internet is essential for our modern life and it is for that we can not regarded as a phenomenon of mode. Internet will still last of many years until it is to replace by something of even more powerful.

merci de votre aide

In this text I am going to answer the question « Is the Internet the lastest fad or is it going to last ? ».

First of all let us start [Let us first start] with the origin of the Internet. The Internet was created by the American Army in the 1960's, when they were seeking for a faster and more advanced means of communication. During the early 1970's, American academics (adjectifs avant les noms) succeeded in increasing the fastness of the information and the Internet transmissions [speed transmission: voitures]. This made it possible to daily communicate via E-mails. From then on, the Internet has become available and accessible for more and more Internet users; it is nowadays, the indeniable great modern tool of communication .

Now let us [let us now] write about what the Internet enables one to do and its importance in one's everyday life. Firstly Internet is a mean of communication thanks to E-mail and the messenger instantaneous. Secondly it is a working tool because Internet is an inexhaustible source of information. Thirdly, it is also a means of entertainment thank to all the server of plays. (Not only a means of communcation i.e through E-mails and instant messenger, the Internet is, on the one hand, an exhaustive source of information and on the other hand, a working instrument to entertain oneself thanks to all the online game servers.)

To conclude I think that the Internet is essential for/in our modern life and cannot be considered as a mere fashion trend.. The Internet is sure to last for years until/unless something more powerful is is developed.

Quelques petites choses à revoir: connecteurs logiques, articles, dates, vocabulaire.

bonjour Kerberos,

> First of all let us start with: first of all + let us start...trop répétitif.
> in the years 1960: 'in the year 1960' (en 1960) / 'during the 1960's' (durant les années 60)
> ...when the army sought: was seeking (internet a été créé [preterit] à l'époque où les Américains étaient en train de...[forme progressive]...un évenement est quelque peu interrompu par un autre
> on rapid and new: maladroit
> At the beginning of the years 1970: 'During the early 1970's' et à
l'inverse: 'During the late 1970's' (at the end of the 1970's)
> ...have succeeded: vous indiquer une date précise ultérieurement, donc utilisation du preterit. (succeeded)
> ...in order to communicating thanks to E-mail: 'in order to +infinitif / thanks to, est un peu maladroit: 'through', 'via'
>...was placed at the disposal of all : sonne français! 'At everybody's disposal'...mais je pense que les adjectifs 'available' et 'accessible' seraient plus spécifiques à ce contexte
> the life of all days: everyday life/ daily life.
> Firstly, secondly, thirdly: un peu lourd ici, puique vous n'écrivez pas vraiment une argumention mais une description
> ...it is for that: 'that is the reason why...' / 'this is why...'
> ...as a phenomenon of mode (mot-à-mot!): fashion phenomenon, phenomenon in fashion/in vogue.
> ...will still last of many years : is going to last long. /to last a long time.

Hope this helps!
