Une petite correction?
Message de hackmetal posté le 15-10-2006 à 15:30:45 (S | E | F | I)

Bonjour
Merci d'avance !!

Hello everybody
I will expose to you how I have choosen to spend the budget to promote th opening of my sports shop.

First of all,I decided to cut the prices for the openning.Indeed I offer a reduction of 10% in all prices and I expect sell for 4000 £.
Morevoer I think that broadcast an advertissement in a local newspapper for the launch day could be a good idea , it’s quite chip and many people usually read those newspapper.
And after all, the circulation of door to door leaflet is necessary to expend our ad compaign because for just 250 £ we can broadcast over 10 000 leaflet !
The sales drive is equally very important for a promotion so I decided to install a karate demonstation, on that day.
And for the last but not the least, we can widen our compaign by advertissing on a website for free ! In fact it will permite us to get more and more prospect customers
However I think, display a spot in off-peak time local radio isn’t very interesting for our promotion and too expensive, such as doing the openning by a famous footballer ! it is a luxury which one cannot offer

If you have any suggestion about those ideas, we can discuss 

* 4000 £: en principe on met £ ou $ ou € devant le chiffre.
* broadcast: il faut ici utiliser un gérondif qui correspond à "le fait de + verbe".
* chip: ne s'agit-il pas plutôt de l'adjectif contraire à "expensive"? Vérifie l'orthographe.
* newspapper: vérifier l'orthographe + il s'agit de plusieurs journaux, donc.......
* 250 £: place de £.
* leaflet: s'il y en a 10 000, alors.....................
* I decided: même raison que ci-dessus.
* on that day: enlever la virgule qui précède. Et la préposition est inutile.
* advertssing: son [s] ou son [z] ?
* permite: vérifier l'orthographe.
* , display: enlever la virgule, mettre "that" et utiliser un gérondif.
* such as: préférer "as well as".
* doing the openning: utiliser une forme passive au lieu d'une forma active + vérifier l'orthographe de "openning" dans le dictionnaire.
* one cannot offer: ==> which we can't afford.

-- Expose to you--> Vois ton dictionnaire de traduction côté Anglais--> Français, et tu te rendras compte que “to expose” n'a rien à voir avec ce que tu veux dire dans ton contexte. Ici, tu as besoin du verbe “to explain”. ... et tu pourrais utiliser la forme--> I am going to explain... (ce que tu as l'intention de faire dans la seconde qui suit)
'
-- I expect sell -> to expect + infinitive.---> donc, qu'est-ce que tu as oublié?.

-- Morevoer -> faute d'orthographe
-- advertissement->faute d'orthographe
-- newspapper--> faute d'orthographe
-- the launch day --> launching / opening day
-- broadcasting... local newspaper --> “to broadcast” appartient au monde de la radio et de la télé. Dans un journal, on utilise le verbe “to put”-->: to put an “advertisement”.

-- And after all (.... leaflet) --> tu pourrais être plus direct et commencer ta phrase par: I also think the circulation....(mais vois ce que je vais te dire sur le mot: circulation)
-- door to door leaflet -> Orthographe: ajoute 2 traits d'union – Pluriel pour leaflet.
-- compaign--> faute d'orthographe

-- the “circulation” of ... leaflets . Le verbe anglais “to distribute” s'applique tout à fait à la diffusion de “leaflets”, donc, “distributing” (le fait de/ l'action de) serait plus approprié que “the circulation of”.

-- We can broadcast over 10 000 leaflets--> Vois ce que j'ai dit plus haut sur le verbe “broadcast” (mets-toi dans la tête que to broadcast = diffuser, mais pour émissions radio - télé). Remplace donc par le verbe suggéré quelques lignes plus haut.

-- demonstation--> faute d'orthographe

-- And for the last but not the least --> Tu en arrives à ton dernier point, donc je pense que “Finally”, serait plus approprié que "And" pour le début de ta phrase.
L'expression que tu emploies est intéressante, mais attention... elle se réduit à 4 mots seulement: “last but not least” (Finally, last but not least, ....)

-- compaign --> faute d'orthographe
-- it will permite us to get.... --> tout d'abord, “permite” --> faute d'orthographe.
-- prospect (customers) --> possible/éventuel, ce n'est pas prospect, mais c'est prospect - - -. (il y a 3 lettres de plus --> vois ton dictionnaire).

-- displaying a spot --> un spot publicitaire, un message publicitaire---> en anglais, (radio & télé) c'est “ad”.
De plus, "faire passer un spot"... = "to have an ad"... – donc, si tu veux t'exprimer en bon anglais, il y a quelques petits points à rectifier.
-- in off-peak time --> je suppose que tu veux dire “pendant” (during) the off-peak time... Tu peux supprimer "the" -- donc, rectifie.

-- openning--> faute d'orthographe
-- as well as , ici, cela ne va pas dans la construction de la fin de ta phrase. Suggestion: Avec des petits arrangements, tu pourrais grouper cette fin de phrase (famous footballer) avec ta dernière phrase.

Hello everybody
I will explain you how I have chosen to spend the budget to promote the opening of my sports shop.

First of all,I have decided to cut the prices for the opening.Indeed I offer a reduction of 10% in all prices and I expect to sell for

£4000 .
Moreover I think that putting an advertisement in a local paper for the launching could be a good idea , it’s quite cheap and many

people usually read those newspapers.
I also think that the distributing of door-to-door leaflets is necessary to expend our ad campaign because for just 250£ we can

distribute over 10 000 leaflets !
The sales drive is equally very important for a promotion so I have decided to install a karate demonstration on that day A.
Finally, last but not least, we can widen our campaign by advertising on a website for free ! In fact it will give us the possibility

to reach more and more prospectives customers
However I think that broadcasting an ad during off-peak-time on the local radio isn’t very interesting for our promotion and too

expensive, as well as doing the opening by a famous footballer is a luxury which we can't afford.

if you have any suggestion about those ideas, we can discuss with pleasure

Hello! (c'est la finale!!!)

-- explain to you
-- to sell £4000 of goods
-- to expand
-- £250--> on met le signe £ devant le nombre
-- prospectives -> NO “s” (car c'est un adjectif)
-- and is too expensive --- et puis, tu coupes la phrase ici.

Mets un "s" à "suggestion" et donc, tu peux dire: we can discuss them ....
